Celebrating...the cliché

"It's the same old same old"..."you can say that again"..."a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link"..."all in due time".

Although "money can't buy you happiness"...a celebration can make you happier! Today is (undocumented) cliché day! Let's celebrate the cliché!!

A cliché is a trite, stereotyped expression; a sentence or phrase, usually expressing a popular or common thought or idea, that has lost originality, ingenuity, and impact by long overuse, acorrding to Dictionary.com. And believe it or not, there is a website ClichéSite.com, which features a cliché a day, a searchable database of clichés as well as categories of clichés. Yes, there is something for everyone!

Well..."time is money", so I'll end here because "it ain't over 'til the fat lady sings"...fa la la la la la

Celebrate words, celebrate the language and celebrate clichés!

Luv Ya!

Well, I'm late reading and responding to this post, but "better late than never". Besides, I figure "there's no time like the present" to "chew the fat" on such a fun topic. Apologies to those irked by reading all these cliches, but "it is what it is" :-) Yay for the cliche!
